Barnet Medieval Festival

Barnet Medieval Festival is dedicated to engaging people in the history of the Battle of Barnet and its significance within the Wars of the Roses. Fought on 14th April 1471, the Battle of Barnet saw Edward IV lead his Yorkist army to victory against the Lancastrian forces led by the Earl of Warwick. Barnet is the only registered battlefield site in London and the Festival aims to promote the medieval heritage of the town to a wide audience.

Since 2019 the Festival has been organised by Barnet Medieval Festival Committee, registered charity no. 1183477. All proceeds from the sale of the specially designed merchandise available on this website will go towards the staging of the next festival, which is planned for the weekend of 5th and 6th June 2021.
